I'm a New York burner having an otherwise lovely trip to SF, but just had my costuming bag stolen from my car in the Mission last night. I thought I'd put the word out to the community, since my the pieces are so recognizable. They just might pop up at a costumed event--or being sold on the street/in a vintage store (though i've given a number of them a heads-up already). There are some unique/vintage/handmade/one-of-a-kind/sentimentally valuable items I can't replace, thus putting forward this request in hopes they might turn up. [i also lost an ipod, which has my phone # on the back, and car navigation system, but those are actually less important to me.]

The short version: the costumes were Victorian/burlesque looking, mostly in red + black, including corsets, feather headpieces, and a 2-pc dress. Details below.

- the bag was a large red vinyl one with an embossed crocodile-skin pattern
- Victorian 3-pc dress (jacket, skirt, underskirt), striped maroon + white w/printed roses
