It's been a tough year for many - for this burner, too. In short: lost job, lost home, and am barely getting by, so I haven't been able to afford a BM ticket. What I haven't lost is my burnin' spirit and the hope to still go to my soul-home in the desert! It is so soon now, and going to the playa is a much needed healing. Just can't imagine not sitting in the temple, not laughing with amazing people, seeing the sunrise after burn-night...
So I wonder...maybe the beautiful gifting spirit of BM is already out there? Is there anyone with a spare ticket you could afford to gift? Or trade for help with setting up camp? Or maybe pass it forward "playa-dirt-cheap"? If so, please let me know - any possibility you come up with is welcome!
