For those of you close to Caleb, aka, Shooter--and anyone else who is close to a Burner or Burners that struggle with issues of depression or other challenges of that nature--or for those who struggle with these issues themselves:

A good friend has started a Tribe called Radical Life Institute--as a place to discuss mental health and the Burner community. It looks like it could be a good place for open dialog on this issue. Having had a brother with schizophrenia, I am an advocate of mental health education. We have a wonderful, wacky, diverse community with our fellow Burners--and due to its very nature of attracting folks who often "live on the edge," it behooves all of us to understand how to help our friends in the community when these sort of issues arise in our friendships, or when we face them ourselves.

I encourage you to join--and contribute to an open dialog on this very vital subject.
